The event will take place for the sixth time in a formula referring to the French event “Fête de la Musique”. Krakow’s Wianki not only present music in many corners of the city, but also once again focus on the diversity of artists – reflecting the current state of the Polish music scene. As every year, this time all events related to Wianki – the Feast of Music will be free and open to everyone.

This year’s Wianki will host leading representatives of various music genres. Hip-hop will be represented by the Katowice rapper Miuosha, known not only for his solo work, but also thanks to the surprising cooperation among others with Jimek and Smolik. Fisz Emade Tworzywo will play on Wianki – musicians who started with hip-hop, from the album to the album to present a new face. Their album “Radar” released in March this year surprises with the sounds of the 80s and references to the disco style. The electropop and dancing aesthetics will be presented by Natalia Nykiel and the production duet Flirtini supported by the leading Polish vocalists and young vocalists such as Rosalie, Piotr Zioła, Michał Sobierajski, Ras, Lena and Gverilla.

During this year’s Wianki, there will also be a strong representation of singing women . On June 22 Barbara Wrońska will perform in Krakow, known for from the duet Ballady i Romanse or Pustki group, Misia Furtak, who this year presented her first full-length solo album, and also awarded with Fryderyk for the latest album “Migawka” by Mel Koteluk, who will present new material during a concert in Krakow. The program of this year’s Wianki also included a place for a true legend of the Polish music scene – Renata Przemyk!

Wianki in Krakow is also an opportunity to present local artists. The first of them is the Sokół Orkestar, which is gaining increasing popularity, i.e. a band founded by Przemek Sokół performing original Balkan brass style pieces. Other local artists who have already earned national acclaim include the Krakow self-made man,Patrick the Pan – composer, producer, songwriter, singer, pianist and guitarist at the Kayax label. with Dawid Podsiadło – and Limboski: admirer of folk and blues, author of music and lyrics, and a fan of analogue sound.
